For more than two decades, Hollywood has sought actor-comedian Mark Christopher Lawrence for his talents on screen and television. In 1991, Lawrence came to the attention of James Cameron who cast him in TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY. He has since appeared in major motion pictures and television shows, including THE PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS with Will Smith and the NBC hit series CHUCK. Lawrence also founded the Prayer Dudz production company.

Join us Tuesday, May 11, for a stimulating conversation with Mark Christopher Lawrence about growing up in Compton, working as a character actor and stand-up comedian while living in San Diego, and becoming the distinguished entertainer that he is today.

We will also be screening the short film "Detour" by Nicolas Simonin. This "date from hell" flick was the "Best Foreign Film" recipient at the Texas FEARLESS FILM FESTIVAL 2010.
