San Diego Filmmakers has negotiated an exclusive discount on film submissions to the San Diego Film Festival.

ATTEND ONE OF OUR NETWORKING EVENTS and get $10 off your submission fee!

Please read and follow these simple instructions:

  1. You MUST submit your application through Without A Box
  2. Select the Payment Method: "Mail in Check/Money Order payable to: San Diego Film Foundation" (DO NOT PAY BY CREDIT CARD -- DISCOUNT CANNOT BE APPLIED THROUGH WAB)
  3. In the "Cover Letter" section, be sure mention that you are applying the exclusive SDF $10 discount and that you are delivering your DVD and payment in person to a SDF networking event.
  4. Make your check out for $10 less than the amount stated on WAB (and be sure to make it out to "San Diego Film Foundation" -- NOT "San Diego Filmmakers")
  5. Be sure to label your DVD AND CHECK with your WAB tracking ID
  6. DO ***NOT*** MAIL YOUR DVD OR PAYMENT TO THE FESTIVAL!
  7. Bring your labeled DVD and PAYMENT to the next San Diego Filmmakers networking event
    • March 11, April 8 or May 13 for the Early Bird rates
    • June 10 only for the late deadline rate

DISCLAIMERS

  • This discount is offered in addition to any WAB Power or Mega Submitter discounts that may already apply.
  • This offer only applies to submissions that qualify for the San Diego resident rate. Filmmaker must reside in San Diego or film must have been shot substantially in San Diego. This discount is offered in addition to the San Diego resident rate discount.
  • All other deadline requirements and eligibility rules (length, premiere status, etc.) still apply.
  • This offer does not entitle you to a refund for submissions you already paid for.
  • Programming selections are determined solely by the San Diego Film Festival.
  • San Diego Filmmakers and its Board of Directors makes no guarantees that your submission will be accepted into the festival.
  • While some SDF Board Members may participate in judging films submitted to the San Diego Film Festival, they are summarily excluded from judging films submitted under this offer or the San Diego resident discount to avoid potential bias.
  • Failure to comply with the requirements for this discount will automatically disqualify your submission without notice. Such disqualification is at the sole discretion of the San Diego Film Festival.
